Murray
John Coubrough, born about 1853, was the oldest son of William Coubrough and Margaret Urie, of Campsie parish, Stirling, Scotland. William was a descendant of John Couburgh of Ellrig and Margaret Stevenson. In 1876, young John married Margaret Murray and they had three sons before John died. Of the two sons who survived infancy, William (the elder) moved to England and John moved to the US in the early 1900's.
